Spanning an impressive 5,000 square feet, Priya’s home combines contemporary architecture with earthy elements.
The client wanted to have both comfort and luxury in their home, and that’s exactly what we were able to deliver. Every design choice was made according to the brief – right from the beautiful palette of whites, browns, and soft pastels to the seamless integration of the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Nature plays an important role in this design narrative, with living areas directly opening to the breathtaking natural settings. When they come together, it translates into tranquillity and sophistication.
The spatial hierarchy of this house is easy to understand. The lower level has multiple semi-private spaces, including the pooja room and the kitchen, while the upper floor contains two bedrooms and other private spaces.

The temple features a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that dissolves the boundary between sacred and natural realms. This open layout creates a meditative connection with the outdoors, allowing sunlight to bathe the prayer area while also framing the changing seasons as a living backdrop.
Strategically placed indoor plants echo the lush exterior landscape. The design features a harmonious blend of elements – a striking red sofa provides a bold contrast against the natural backdrop, while potted plants in clean white planters add layers of organic texture. The staircase is gracefully designed so as not to disrupt the overall design. Natural light enters the area through the large windows, producing dynamic shadows all day and an ever-changing interplay between light and environment.

Living Room: A Symphony of Textures and Bold Hues
This stunning living space is a great example of how contemporary design and luxurious comfort can come together. The room has a clever blend of modern components and warm wood tones, creating an elegant but welcoming environment.
The walls have textured panels and strategically placed mirrors, which come together to create depth and mystery. A regal plum sofa immediately commands attention with its vibrant presence. Carefully coordinated lighting highlights important elements, and indoor plants add a refreshing touch. All the artwork and decorative elements reflect Priya’s style and passions.
Overall, this is a stylish room – designed for relaxation and entertainment, demonstrating that good design can achieve whatever one desires.
A subtle brass screen partition separates the living area from the dining room and the continuity makes the space appear larger overall. The color palette of whites, browns and pastels is maintained throughout the two spaces to create a calming ambience.
The dining area serves as the heart of the space. The stylish sage green upholstered chairs complement the sleek black dining table and the overall effect – a great place where people will want to hang out, and not just for meals.
The area overlooks a private courtyard with lots of greenery, and this natural vibe is also brought in. Natural light dominates and makes the overall space very approachable and inviting.
The geometric patterned area rug in harmonious greys and yellows is perfect for this space, and the floor-to-ceiling built-in shelving in white with wooden accents brings a touch of class. The cove lighting and thoughtfully placed indoor plants all add natural warmth to the space.
This perfect layout balances privacy and connectivity – each space maintains its identity yet contributes to a cohesive whole.
The modern kitchen is stunning, to say the least – a great blend of contemporary design and organic elements. The colour palette is striking – forest green lower cabinets paired with warm wooden upper cabinetry.
The layout features a practical L-shaped design with a central island, maximizing workspace and flow. The island has a green base and is topped with elegant white marble, and the wooden bar stools with black metal frames allow for casual dining.
The countertops and backsplash in white marble create a luxurious feel while maintaining the kitchen’s modern aesthetic.
The ceiling panelling and modern globe pendant lights with gold accents add warmth and sophistication. The matte black appliances, including a sleek refrigerator and built-in ovens, are
contemporary and offer a good contrast to the rest of the elements.
The flooring has warm wooden planks and geometric patterned tiles in the cooking area. At the entrance of this room, you will see beautiful arched doorways with wooden trim and gold accents, making the whole design pop.
There is plenty of storage all through – with the design maintaining the clean lines.
All these design elements contribute to creating a kitchen space that is contemporary and timeless, perfect for both everyday living and entertaining.
